Professor Anthony T. Bryan is a long-established independent consultant on energy security and energy geopolitics in the Caribbean and Latin America. Based in Trinidad and Tobago he is a fellow of the Caribbean Policy Consortium (CPC), an Associate of Manchester Trade, and a senior associate of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. He is also a member of the Association of Caribbean Energy Specialists (ACES) in Trinidad and Tobago. Dr. Bryan has published widely in the field of energy trade and security, energy geopolitics, and on developments in the Guyana-Suriname Basin (GSB) since 2007. His career has also included positions in Washington, D.C. as a senior scholar with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and a senior fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, and as director of the Caribbean Studies Program at the North South Center of the University of Miami.
