VSB - Suriname Trade and Industry Association
The VSB was founded in 1950 with the purposes of Representing the interests of its members and Promoting the economic and social well-being of the community. The VSB derives its legitimacy from Surinamese Constitution and its membership is based on the freedom of expression. VSB is recognized by the International Labor Organization as the most representative Employers Business Member Organization in Suriname. VSB’s members employ 20.000+ workers while they represent 62% of the GDP. VSB is active in 40+ tripartite and bipartite platforms. VSB is a Member of the International Organization of Employers and the Caribbean Employers Confederation.
