Devnan Agencies, Inc. was founded on March 1, 1962, by Mr. de Vries and Mr. Nan Gajadien.
The name “Devnan” is a combination of the first letters of Mr. DE Vries and the first letters of Mr. NAN Gajadien.
Today, the company is fully managed by the Gajadien family.
Devnan is an import and distribution company located in the heart of Paramaribo.
The Devnan Group consists of three companies: Devnan Agencies, Inc., Devnan Paper, Cardboard & Envelopes, and Sun Express.
Some of Devnan’s agencies and brands include: Colgate, Mabel’s, Harbor Bay, Pelikan, Double A Paper, Explorer Paper, Emtec, Atlas Olive Oil, Hereford Corned Beef, Safi Sardines, Alpino Products, and Vibro Envelopes.
