Andy Hawthorn is the Product Line Director for Smart Services at Baker Hughes. He has degrees in Geology and Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Durham, UK. He has been involved with the development of downhole tool technology for the last 23 years and before that worked internationally around the world in drilling and logging. He is widely published and holds numerous patents in the field of acoustics, geomechanics, drilling and earth model building.
