Antero Alvarado
Antero Alvarado is the Principal Partner and Managing Director at Gas Energy Latin America, where he founded the Venezuela office and has led the regional team since 2012. With over 20 years of experience in the Venezuelan oil industry, he serves as the Chairman of the Caracas Gas Forum, the nation's largest private natural gas event. An Energy Economist from the IFP School in France, he shares his expertise as a lecturer at IESA Business School and Central University.
Beyond his executive and academic roles, Alvarado has been a columnist for the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington since 2017 and is frequently quoted by major international energy media.
