Carla Tharp serves as the Vice President, Corporate Development for APA Corporation. In her role, she leads the company's evaluations of new ventures opportunities, both domestically and internationally, as well as APA's international Commercial and Country Management functions. Before assuming this position, she served as Vice President, Reserves since joining the company in January 2020. Prior to APA, Ms. Tharp served as Managing Director of Energy Investment Banking at Raymond James, and Director of Acquisitions and Divestitures at Citi Global Markets and at Lantana Energy Advisors. She began her career as a reservoir engineer and has held a variety of engineering roles with increasing responsibility.

Ms. Tharp holds a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
