Carlos Bellorin
Carlos is EVP on the Energy Trends & Analytics team, where he leads research and provides advisory on exploration and production global E&P trends, corporate strategy, and fiscal and contractual frameworks.
Before joining Welligence, Carlos spent 15 years at S&P Global in the E&P Terms and Above-Ground Risk. Earlier in his career, he served as external legal counsel to various oil and gas companies and held in-house legal roles in two major Orinoco Oil Belt projects in Venezuela.
Carlos has taught the "International and Comparative Petroleum Law and Contracts" module for over a decade at Sciences Po in Paris and Queen Mary University of London. In 2023, he was appointed Honorary Fellow of the University of Dundee’s CEPMLP. He holds a law degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and an LLM in Petroleum Law and Policy from the University of Dundee (CEPMLP).
