Danny was appointed Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS Suriname E&P B.V. on 1 July 2025. He brings over 19 years of experience across PETRONAS’ global Upstream value chain, with a proven track record in international business growth, commercial leadership, and strategy & portfolio development.

He began his career with PETRONAS in 2006 as a Geologist and subsequently held senior roles in Business Development, Commercial, Strategy & Portfolio, and Business Planning. Prior to his CEO appointment, he served as Head of Upstream Commercial and Business Development International, where he led global asset acquisitions, M&A activities, and strategic divestments.
