In 2008, Dayenne Wielingen – Verwey completed her master's degree in Economics at the Anton de Kom University of Suriname. In the same year she started her working career as an economic policy officer at STIA. After leaving STIA Dayenne held the position of director at a financial institution for nine (9) years, where she significantly increased her experience and expertise in economics and business policy.  She has returned to VSB since December 2023 and currently holds the position of director.
