Specializes in assisting structuring cross-border investments. An MSc graduate from the University of Twente, Derk started his career at ABN AMRO in The Netherlands. Since joining Amicorp in 2007, he has held various roles, including Managing Director in Shanghai and Curaçao, Chief Operations Officer, prior to becoming CEO Amicorp Management Services . Derk has also acted as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Dutch Caribbean Securities Exchange, Board Member at the Curacao International Financial Association, and is currently acting Board Member for First Abu Dhabi Bank USA, and the Amicorp Community Foundation, as well as an initiator of the Caribbean Hotel Development Fund.
