Frédéric Beys has a B.Sc. in Physics from Ecole Nationale des Arts et Métiers in France and a Master of Business (international trade and logistics).

Frédéric has started his career in various major Industrial companies (Michelin, Alstom) and entered Oil and Gas Industry in 1992 as Project Manager for the execution of large maintenance and EPC projects (Europe/Africa/Asia).

In 2003, he joined TotalEnergies (TTE) as Engineering and Procurement Manager of the Dalia Deep Offshore field development (Angola). He then took the position of Project Manager for the Yemen LNG Upstream project.

In 2010 he went back to TotalEnergies Head Office as Petroleum Architect on deep water developments, and from 2014 to 2021 he took the position of Head of Strategy and Planning for TTE Exploration and Production Affiliates respectively in Nigeria and Scotland.

Since 2021, he is in charge of the Integrated Project Group for Suriname, based in TTE Paris Head Office.
