Gavin Ooft is an economist and AI strategist with 12+ years of experience advising corporates, financial institutions, and governments across the Caribbean. As Business Development Advisor at Staatsolie, he applies data-driven intelligence to strengthen monetization strategies and investment decisions. Alongside this, he is the co-founder of Intelyze Consulting, a firm specialized in translating applied economics and AI strategy into measurable results. With a Ph.D. in Economics, an M.Sc. from Johns Hopkins University, and a certificate from The Wharton School, his academic foundation is as strong as his practical track record. Gavin is actively involved with the Children's University Suriname, investing in the next generation of talent.
