Gordon was born and raised in Suriname and has degrees in Mechanical- and Biomedical Engineering (Technical University Delft -Netherlands). He is a commercially driven engineer with experience in areas such as business development, project management and strategic planning.

Gordon joined the Kersten Group of Companies (Kersten) in 2017 after working 5 years at the Academic Hospital Paramaribo as Healthcare Technology Manager.

Apart from the regular tasks as Business Development Manager of Kersten, he is also responsible for mapping out the strategy for the new Energy division including setting up and monitoring new businesses to service the rapidly developing offshore Oil & Gas sector of Suriname.
