Guido Koorndijk holds a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering from TU Delft, the Netherlands.

Over 25 years experience in design and construction of major civil (marine) works like jettys, ports, bridges, subsea pipelines, fuel terminals and sea berths.

Co-founder of FIRM Engineering (2007); a reputable Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management (EPCM) company based in Suriname, active over the entire Caribbean. Initiator and Lead Designer / Developer of Marine Support Base DORDT on the east bank of the Suriname River, strategically located near to the Atlantic Ocean.
