Government of the Republic of Suriname
MISIEKABA André Theodorus was born on July 28, 1976, in Paramaribo. He is married to Jenny Tobi, a registered nurse, and together they have four sons and one daughter. He studied Public Administration at the Anton de Kom University of Suriname (Drs) and has served for 33 years with the Full Gospel Movement in Suriname as an ordained apostle. Since 2005 he has occupied senior political and administrative roles within government and civil society. He currently serves as Minister of Health, Welfare and Labor, bearing direct responsibility for national health policy, social protection, labor market regulation, occupational safety and health, and ensuring equitable access to essential services for all citizens of Suriname.
