Henk-John is a purpose driven leader in strategic- & climate finance, innovation-, commercial-, and operational management. He has been leading corporate- and startup Innovation in Europe and Emerging Markets. He built an Innovation Lab for a Caribbean bank from which many digital innovations in the fintech and e-commerce space where created. He has years of international experience in the Investment banking and Venture capital space. Since 2020 he has been very active in the area of Sustainability with a focus on climate change mitigation, climate compatible economic development and more specifically on carbon credits monetization. Currently he is the CEO of The Suriname Investment and Trade Agency (SITA).
