Honourable Dickon Mitchell has served as Grenada’s ninth Prime Minister since June 2022. In a remarkable rise, he was sworn into office just eight months after entering politics, ushering in a new era of leadership.

Prime Minister Mitchell is widely recognized for his visionary and reform-driven approach to governance, with a strong focus on economic development, a modernized public service and transparency. His administration has prioritized digital transformation as a key driver of efficiency, economic opportunity, and global competitiveness, alongside advancing the Creative Economy.

A lawyer by profession and a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment, his experiences as a teacher and mentor shape his commitment to inclusive national development. Regionally, he assumed the Chair of CARICOM in July 2024, where he has championed climate justice and digital skills development.
