The Hon. Vaughn Peterson Miller, M. P., J. P. was born on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. He received his early education at the Windermere High School and at the R.M. Baily High School in New Providence. On graduating from High School he attended the University of Richmond, Siena College, New York and Jacksonville Theological Seminary in the United States of America. He has attained Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Theology. He is married to Cassandra Miller; and the couple are the proud parents of one son, Vaughn Miller Jr.

In his professional career he has served as Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Social Services and Urban Renewal, He is a veteran Broadcaster, Pastor, a former Trade Unionist, Social Activist, and the Founder and CEO of the motivational organization The Vision Group Ltd.

Mr. Miller was first elected on May 10th, 2017 as the Member of Parliament for the Golden Isles Constituency in New Providence as Parliamentary Secretary, and re-elected September 16, 2021, and appointed to serve in the Cabinet as the Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources for the Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
