Jacques-Antoine Dal, a graduate of IFP School, Paris (1996) and BSc Geosciences, Nancy (1993), joined Total in 1997 as a New Ventures geologist working in Exploration, Paris.

Jacques-Antoine has been working for 25 years at TotalEnergies Exploration and Production. He had held several exploration and development management roles in headquarters and in Africa (including Algeria, Angola, Congo, MSGBC Ivory-Coast), USA, Middle East and Asia.

Since 2020, Jacques-Antoine assumes the position of Area Exploration Manager, in the TotalEnergies Exploration Hub in Houston, in charge of exploration activities in Brazil, Suriname and Guyana in South America, where TotalEnergies had recent significant exploration successes. Specifically, he oversees the exploration program on the very prolific operated B58 in Suriname.
