Jade Tjon is the representative for Suriname on the Executive Board of the Inter-American Development Bank Group. She serves as the focal point between the Government of Suriname and the Bank, and is dedicated to bringing attention to the needs and opportunities of small and island states. Previously, she served as an International Relations Officer at the Central Bank of Suriname. Jade also led financial education trainings for various government ministries and was a lecturer at the FHR School of Business in Paramaribo. Jade earned her MSc in Business Administration at the Vu University in Amsterdam where she specialized in strategy and organization.
