Jimmy Van Itterbeeck is Business Opportunity Manager for Shell`s Suriname exploration assets. He joined Shell in 2005 after receiving his PhD at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium on dinosaur sites across the Eurasian continent. During his time in Shell, Jimmy has held various positions within the exploration department while being posted across various locations (The Hague, the Netherlands; Tripoli, Libya; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). Jimmy is married to Janja and has 2 sons, Stef and Warre. In his free time, Jimmy likes to travel, cycle and collect fossils.
