Johnny Hewett serves as the Services Manager for Suriname at TechnipFMC, a global leader in oilfield services and technology. In this role, Johnny is responsible for driving strategic growth, overseeing infrastructure development, managing operations and field activities, and ensuring exceptional customer service across the Suriname market. His leadership focuses on operational excellence, resource optimization, and building strong client relationships to support the region’s evolving energy landscape.

With over 25 years of experience in Subsea Services, Johnny has built a distinguished career at TechnipFMC, holding a variety of technical and leadership positions that have shaped his expertise in offshore operations and project management. His previous roles include Technical Service Personnel, SIT/Refurbishment Coordinator, Project Manager, Gulf of Mexico Technical Service Manager, International Operations Manager, and Customer Service Manager. Prior to his current appointment, Johnny successfully served as Country Manager for Guyana, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding TechnipFMC’s presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing offshore markets.

Johnny’s career is marked by a commitment to operational integrity, safety, and innovation. He has led complex subsea projects across multiple geographies, ensuring seamless execution and delivering value to clients in challenging environments. His ability to navigate technical complexity while fostering collaborative teams has earned him recognition as a trusted leader in the energy sector.

Before joining TechnipFMC, Johnny served in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and global operations. During his military tenure, he spent significant time abroad in countries such as Iceland, Greenland, Africa, Japan, Korea, and Panama, gaining invaluable experience in cross-cultural environments and high-pressure situations.
