Marc Refos started his professional journey as a Mechanical Engineer at the Staatsolie Refinery. With a passion for Maintenance and Refining operations, he quickly progressed and became the head of the Maintenance department. Following the refinery's expansion, Marc was promoted to the role of Refinery Operations Manager, where he played a key role in ensuring operational readiness.

Currently, Marc holds the esteemed position of Staatsolie Marketing Asset Manager. In this capacity, he shoulders the responsibility of managing GOw2 Energy Suriname, while also spearheading the Marketing division of Staatsolie. With his strategic vision and profound understanding of the industry, Marc plays a crucial role in driving the success of Staatsolie's commercial initiatives.
