Mark Regis
Mark Regis is a stakeholder relations and non – technical risk management professional with more than 30 year’s experience, gained across roles in diplomacy and the public and international oil and gas sectors.
Mark has more than 14 year’s experience in various Government and Policy and Advocacy roles, supporting BG Group and Shell businesses with footprints and operations in the Caribbean and Central America. From 2017 to 2023 Mark concurrently served as Shell’s Country Chairman for more than 20 English and Dutch Caribbean countries and territories.
In the areas of transparency and natural resource management, Mark has served as a World Bank Consultant and subsequently as Trinidad and Tobago’s first National Coordinator for the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), overseeing that country’s successful accession to the global extractive industry good governance initiative. Currently Mark is the Head of Corporate Relations for the English and Dutch Caribbean clusters and the principal oil and gas company constituency member on Suriname’s EITI Multi-Stakeholder Board.
