Martin Cheong

Country General Manager (Guyana) , SBM Offshore

Martin Cheong is the Country General Manager for SBM Offshore Guyana and the first Guyanese national to hold the role. With over 15 years of experience in finance, compliance, and corporate leadership, he has held senior positions at SBM Offshore in Guyana, Brazil, and the Netherlands, as well as at Scotiabank Guyana and GTT. Martin holds a BSc in Accountancy from the University of Guyana and an Executive MBA from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business. He is a strong advocate for local content development, workforce capacity building, and sustainable growth within Guyana’s energy sector.
