

Minu Parahoe
She has a background in environmental management and agronomy, with 11 years at CELOS and experience at WWFGuianas focusing on wetlands, agroforestry, and community-based conservation.
As a consultant, she assisted the government in preparing for coastal protected area management. She later joined Amazon Conservation Team (ACT) Suriname as Program Director, expanding it significantly. Over 12 years, she grew into the role of Regional Director for ACT Guianas, leading operations in Guyana and French Guiana.
Her work centers on Indigenous rights, traditional knowledge, cross-cultural collaboration, and sustainable development, grounded in strategic advocacy, mapping, and building strong local and regional partnerships.
