Mohd Jukris Abdul Wahab is the Chief Operating Officer of PETRONAS, effective 1 February 2026, following his appointment as Executive Vice President and CEO of Upstream in July 2024. He brings over three decades of extensive experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, with senior leadership roles across Malaysia and international operations. Jukris has led numerous high‑impact technical and commercial initiatives, including production optimisation, PSC negotiations, and strengthening of strategic industry frameworks. He is also a frequent keynote and panel speaker at leading global energy forums.

Jukris holds a B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and has completed executive development programmes at INSEAD and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
