After graduation from the Anton de Kom University of Suriname in 2002, Nohar Poeketi immediately started exploring the hydrocarbon opportunities in the Offshore  of Suriname.

Since then he’s been exploring and marketing the various plays in the basin from onshore opportunities to the shelf, deepwater including the Demerara Plateau which is a piece West Africa that is left behind during the Mid Cretaceous age.

Nohar Poeketi just concluded a very successful bid round (together with Envoi) which was focused on the opportunities of the deepwater Demerara Plateau. However there are still great opportunities remaining in the same area.

While Nohar Poeketi’s  core responsibility now is the management Shallow Offshore Joint Ventures, he  would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention way from the deepwater Block 58 to other upcoming opportunities in the Onshore, Shelf and Demerara Plateau.

Nohar has MSC degree in Petroleum Geoscience.
