Dr. Paul Riley received his Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience from Franklin and Marshall College in 2004. He then received a Master’s degree (2006) and a Doctorate degree (2010) in Structural Geology from the University of Wisconsin. He went on to join ExxonMobil in 2011, where he began working production opportunities in West Africa. From 2011-2018, he worked basins across Africa, South America, and the Middle East. In 2018, he became West Africa New Opportunities supervisor, and has gone on to hold various leadership positions in business analysis, strategy, and operations. He is currently the Guyana and Suriname Exploration Manager, with his team generating and testing new ideas across the broader Guyana-Suriname Basin.
