Pete graduated with a degree in Economic Geology from the University of Wales in 1980.  Pete started his career with Seismograph Services Limited (SSL). After various international postings including positions as Team Leader and Center Manager in the Middle East, Europe & South America, Pete was posted to Houston in 1997 where he assumed the role of Geophysical Services manager for Schlumberger. In 2001 Pete joined GX Technology and assumed various Management roles including Vice-President for world-wide Land, Seabed and Multi-component processing, running 6 global centers.

 In 2017 joined BGP Offshore in the role of Chief Geophysicist.
