Peter graduated with a degree in Economic Geology from the University of Wales in 1980.  Peter started his career with Seismograph Services Limited (SSL). After various international postings including positions as Team Leader and Center Manager in the Middle East, Europe & South America, Peter was posted to Houston in 1997 where he assumed the role of Geophysical Services manager for Schlumberger.

In 2001 Peter joined GX Technology and assumed various Management roles including Vice-President for world-wide Land, Seabed and Multi-component processing, running 6 global centers. In 2017 joined BGP Offshore in the role of Chief Geophysicist specializing in OBN business development.
