Rafiq Ilahi is Permanent Secretary for Technological Innovation at Suriname's Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation (EZOTI), leading the country's AI and technology policy agenda. He also serves on the Onafhankelijk Kiesbureau, Suriname's independent electoral authority, and is shaping Suriname's national AI strategy in partnership with multilateral institutions.
