My name is Rahidkhan Dhauri,  mostly known by my second name Firdouz. In 2010 I pursued my bachelor's degree in Mineral Resources Management at the Anton De Kom University of Suriname . I started my career as a Mine Engineer from 2011 to 2013 at the Suriname Aluminium Company (Suralco). Due to my growing interest in the Petroleum industry I finally decided to make a career switch by the end of 2013 and started as a jr. Reservoir Engineer at Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname, Saramacca Operations. In 2021 I graduated for master’s in science in Petroleum Geology. During my first years of reservoir engineering, I was mainly involved with primary oil recovery, annual forecasts, and reserves estimations. Since 2019 I’ve been involved with the tertiary oil recovery at Staatsolie and mainly the EOR method of polymer flooding.
