Ramon Perdomo is a Senior Drilling Engineer with over 19 years of experience in upstream oil and gas. He has supported drilling operations for service providers across onshore and offshore environments, including floating rigs, exploration, and MLT (levels 4–5) wells, sidetracks, managed-pressure drilling, directional and horizontal wells, and heavy oil projects. He has held roles such as Business Development Manager, Lead Technical Advisor, Senior Directional Drilling Engineer, and Onsite Technical Specialist. His focus is on applying technology within operator and service companies, coaching drilling teams to adopt new tools and services, and developing relevant procedures and standards.

He has contract-management experience across onshore, shallow offshore, deepwater, and ultra-deepwater drilling programs, and he designs tender strategies and business development plans for these markets. He is currently a Ph.D. in Geology, exploration, and exploitation of mineral resources. His research analyzes advanced drilling data and evaluates drilling techniques. He is proficient with public data sources and has strong verbal and written communication skills. He is committed to digital transformation in the oil and gas industry and to fostering the mindset change needed to adopt digital technologies.
