Robert is a Dutch qualified lawyer and has been working with HBN Law & Tax in Curaçao since 2012. Robert advises lenders and borrowers on various types of credit facilities and capital market transactions and on financial restructurings in the Dutch Caribbean (Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten and the BES islands) and increasingly has acted on deals involving Suriname. In addition, Robert advises banks and companies on regulatory issues relating to banking and securities law.
His client base includes corporates and major financial institutions in the Dutch Caribbean.
Robert studied at the University of Amsterdam (tax and civil law).
