Satcha Jabbar
Mrs Jabbar is an Economist by training and has worked in various positions and had various consultancy assignments, related to banking and finance, and credit.
She headed a medium sized financial institution for eight years, and after that, did assignments for the Investment Fund Suriname, The Micro-credit Fund and 2 private banks. She did research for the UNDP regarding the effects of financial stress on social services groups (2015-2020). She has written several articles on the relevance of national Institutions, a Manual for Credit provision for the Caribbean Development Bank and recently, articles on the Production Credit Fund of Suriname of which she is a board member on behalf of the VSB (2024).
