Kalicharan is an operations & protection engineer at the Transmission department of NVEBS. He graduated from the ADEK University of Suriname where he received the Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering in 2010. Within the NVEBS, he began as an operator at the Main Control Centre in 2010. In 2022, he move to the Transmission department and is working very closely with the Distribution department . He had led multiple protection, control and CVR projects. His research interest are powersystem with-area protection, voltage quality, powersystem stability, energy efficiency loadflow studies, shortcircuit studies.
