Soraya Bousaid (29) was born and raised in Suriname. She holds an MSc in Strategic Management from the University of Tilburg. She has participated in numerous projects aimed at fostering social integration both in the Netherlands and in Suriname. In 2018, she was nominated for an ECHO Award. An award for talented individuals from a non-Western background who stand out because of their entrepreneurial spirit, organizational skills, active social involvement and constructive approach to challenges related to inclusion. She is the Chair of the Women’s Sustainable Development Foundation Suriname, the Founder of the Women’s Leadership Summit Suriname and the Co-Host of the WomenofSu Podcast.
