Steven Debipersad studied Medicine and Economics and is widely recognized for his macroeconomic analyses, which he regularly shares through public interviews, presentations, and policy discussions. As a lecturer at Anton de Kom University of Suriname, he focuses on the development of master’s programs aimed at strengthening Suriname’s financial-economic expertise. He is currently the Coordinator of the Master’s program in Finance and Control. In parallel, he has been active for over a decade within the Association of Economists in Suriname, and also serves as Chair of the Suriname Business Forum, linking academia, policy, and practice in support of national development.
