Thomas is a 16+year Oil & Gas professional with Baker Hughes. Thomas holds a Masters degree in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering and brings over 16 years of professional experience in Baker Hughes. He started as a Completions Technical Support Engineer in the UK before Thomas embarked onto a 14 years journey in the Sub-Sahara Africa Region. He has held various positions in different SSA countries, including Completions and Wellbore Intervention (CWI) technical roles in Congo, CWI Service Delivery Coordinator, then Service Delivery Manager in Angola, Central Africa and East Africa. He also developed cross functional and cross PL skills as SSA OFS Billing & Collections Regional Lead for 2 years prior to taking his last role of CWI Region Product Line Director in SSA, with a responsibility over 15 countries in Africa, with a high focus on growth, customer satisfaction, and service delivery excellence.

In April 2024, Thomas once again relocated, to Suriname, as resident Country Sales Manager for Baker Hughes, with the mission to establish sustainable footprint in country to support upcoming energy projects in this strategic location.
