With 18 years of Upstream industry experience, Syarafie specializes in Development Geophysics with a strong focus on seismic interpretation and integrated field development planning. His portfolio includes development projects across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak and Malaysia–Thailand Joint Development Area, contributing to the maturation and delivery of numerous subsurface development strategies. He currently serves as the senior geophysicist for PETRONAS’ Suriname Development projects, supporting the transition of emerging assets into the development phase.
