The SEOGS Technical Conference (STC 2026) - 'Call for Speakers’ is now open!

Each year, hundreds of energy professionals – technical experts, analysts, scientists, and innovators submit evidence-based abstracts for the chance to present at the largest energy and offshore event in the Caribbean, SEOGS.

The SEOGS Technical Conference invites engineers, innovators, researchers, and project specialists to contribute to one of the most influential technical programs in the Caribbean energy sector. Over three days, STC 2026 will spotlight the technologies, methodologies, and operational insights that will guide Suriname from exploration success toward large-scale development and long-term energy resilience.

Successful contributors will develop their 3,500 character abstracts (580 -700 words) into a presentation and share their insights with a global audience. By contributing your work, you will help shape an innovative, sustainable, and lower-carbon energy future for all.

The SEOGS Call for Speakers is open to the entire energy industry, welcoming abstracts from applicants of all backgrounds. Each year, hundreds of pioneering abstracts from around the world are submitted for consideration in the technical program.

In the previous editions, SEOGS has consistently advocated for professionals from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and organisations. Each year, we receive hundreds of abstracts from thought leaders and policy makers, NOCs, IOCs, SME's, start-ups, and companies across the energy value chain.

After all submissions have been received in line with the curated categories, topics and themes, the SEOGS advisory board will meticulously review and select the most outstanding contributions.
