The Polytechnic College Suriname (PTC)- University of Applied Sciences has been established on February 21, 1997. The institute is a foundation with 9 board members, representing different sectors, ministries as well as the Council of Trade Unions in Suriname. Besides having 7 accredited programs among its 13 Bachelor's and 3 Master's programs, PTC is ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2014.

Our mission: PTC provides applied scientific education with professional and market-oriented perspectives, efficiently contributing to the competence of the student.

Our vision: By 2025, PTC aims to be one of the most competitive training institutes in the region, offering applied scientific education.
