Gaia WXSO
)
The WXSO is a cable-mounted data acquisition device that records high-frequency pressure, temperature, acceleration, and orientation data to memory throughout the wireline run. Post-run logs generated from the WXSO include stacked Horner plot computations at 10 ft true vertical depth (TVD) resolution, hydrostatic pressure of the mud column, and validation of surface winch movement during stationary operations such as fluid sampling or sidewall coring. Additionally, the WXSO provides a timestamped record of mechanical events, including jar firings, enhancing post-job diagnostics and operational insight.
