2024 SEOGS Women Economic Empowerment Program
Historically, women have been key decision-makers in the distribution of household income for education, health, food, and shelter.
In a world of energy transition and focus on 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), it is imperative to create awareness around the importance of Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) by enabling Women-Owned Businesses (WOBs) to compete in the globally.
This year, SEOGS will again, serve as a space to support WEE in Suriname. The program will:
- Connect WOB with Buyers.
- Inform about potential opportunities in the energy sector.
- Coach women entrepreneurs.
