Born in Italy, Gianluigi has graduated in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan and holds a MS in International Trade Management. After several experiences in various companies in commercial roles, he joined Saipem in 2005 and held various positions in procurement and supply chain connected to oil & gas offshore projects in the Mediterranean, the North Sea, Far East Asia and the USA, being located in Croatia, UK, Malaysia and Houston (USA). Thanks to the wide management experience gained through this international career, Gianluigi has also been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors and Compliance Committees of some other Saipem’s subsidiaries worldwide.
